As always, you will travel with a private 4×4 vehicle, at your exclusive use, and you will be accompanied by a professional safari guide. You will stay in selected and high level camps and lodges, in the middle of nature, for a comfortable and safe tour. The special destination of Taita Hills will allow you to do uncommon activities, prohibited in most of the other natural reserves, like night game drives, sundowners on the hills, and bush breakfasts… !

DAY BY DAY ITINERARY:
DAY 1: LUMO CONSERVANCY – TAITA HILLS
This morning let your guide take you to Lumo Sanctuary , an exclusive conservancy between Tsavo East and West.
Your days here will be spent marveling at the beauty of wildlife, rising early with the sun for game drives followed by a full brunch prepared for you at camp.
During sunset, enjoy an unforgettable sundowner, with a drink in hand and 180 degrees view on the endless savannah below.
DAY 2: TAITA HILLS AND LUMO CONSERVANCY
Full day today within Lumo and Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
During midday hours you can rest up in your tent and enjoy uninterrupted views over the endless savannah, the perfect spot to quietly observe or contemplate the wilderness.
And, as soon as the sun goes down, you will start the night game drive, looking for nocturnal wildlife, like genets, african civets, bushbaby and , yes!, predators on a hunt! If you are lucky you may spot the elusive melanistic serval, common in this area but very rare in Africa!
You will end with a fabulous dinner at the lodge.
DAY 3: TSAVO EAST
Your last morning game drive within Lumo Sanctuary has arrived. But before to leave this beautiful place, you will stop somewhere in the savannah for your bush breakfast, toasting to Africa with a glass of champagne in your hands!
The distance between Lumo Sanctuary and Tsavo East is very short and you will travel along villages and plantations, outside the natural reserves, for only one hour.
You will reach your new tented camp for lunch time.
In the afternoon you will explore with your guide the surrounding area, which is full of wildlife and several lion prides.
Dinner and stay at the camp.
You can choose between these accommodations , selected just for you. The first is overlooking the water pool of Aruba and is fenced , the second (Satao Camp) is not fenced and the water pool is always very crowded by elephants, a spectacle for the eyes!
DAY 4: YOUR JOURNEY ENDS
This morning we still have a game drive in the park of Tsavo East, in the direction of the river Galana.
When we get to the river, we will walk all the way out, stopping to look at the hippos and crocodiles.
We will leave the park in the late morning and proceed to the coast that we will reach towards lunch time, after about 2 hours of road.
And if you want to add another night to this safari, we can also visit the Tsavo West National Park.
In this case, after the first two nights in the beautiful Taita Hills, we will proceed to the Tsavo West Park, whose entrance is only about thirty km away, before stopping the last night in the Tsavo East.
